Junagadh, April 16: A four-month-old lion cub was found dead on Saturday evening at Kashia beat in Dedakadi forest range, some 10 km from Sasan in Gir forest. According to forest officials, a forest beat guard noticed the caracass on Saturday evening and informed officials at Sasan Gir headquarters. Assistant conservator of forest, Maneshwar Ram rushed to the spot and shifted the caracass to Sasan Animal Care Centre where a panel of doctors conducted post-mortem.
