Both the kids were on their way to the school at Anayatpur when attacked by a leopard.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Farooq, 8 son of Mohammad Latief of Anayatpur while has injured sister has been identified as Yasmeen, 5.
The injured was admitted to the Sub District Hospital Nowshera for treatment. Police said that both students were going to the school when attacked by wild leopard. Eight year old Mohd Farooq was dragged by the leopard to the forest. The mauled body of the minor boy was recovered from the forest later by the cops. Police have asked wild life department to arrange the special gun to tranqualise the wild leopard and shift it to the sanctuary failing which some other measures would be initiated to neutralise it.
